Random life update! Hell yeah!

1) Wazy and I are trying for a mortgage on a small home. It'll take a while (duh) but we're willing to wait for a bit.

2) Wazy's 21st birthday is coming up. We're going to Chuck E. Cheese. BEST EVER.

3) We play D&D now. It's fun. When I'm not DMing, I have an elven rogue.

4) FF4 DS is fantastic.

5) My Pokemon Ranch is FUCKIN' FANTASTIC.

6) And I'm looking for a better paying job.

Yeah. Anyhoo.

Nothing too fancy going on in my life, really. Just working (same place since last post), playing games (ToS since ToS2 comes out this year, Dragon Quest Monsters Joker, FF9, and Red Steel), and hanging out with peoples.

And I have the BEST OTAFEST COSPLAY EVAR.

But it's kinda secret...

I basically did nothing today. Played Fable, chilled with Wazy (I'm waiting up for her to get home from work), chilled with Rod. Nothing spectacular.

I dunno what I'm doing tomorrow. Might be going to a friend's birthday party, but I dunno.

HOSHIT LIKE 2 MONTHS.

So I don't work with Shoppers anymore, for those who don't know. I'm now with Coles Books in TD Square. Only 4 blocks from my apartment! It's a fun job, my co-workers are cool, and my nerdiness is in the best possible place now.

Life is good for me. Nothing too spectacular coming up. Just the anime dance (doing shopping for that this weekend) and Red Deer for Halloween. We're going to Wazy's sister's place for a party and some R&R.

Zombie Walk? Not going. But hey, if you want to come by afterwards, gimme a call on my cell or my home phone (265-8465). I will grant a bathroom for makeup removal. =D

Yeah, I got it. I move in on the 1st. =D

So yeah. I leave town in 9 hours or so. Driving to Saskatoon is laaame. =(

I might have a apartment downtown, if I'm lucky. Wazy's gonna deliver the deposit on Monday, so we'll see then.

And now for a work-related rant.

-Please. If you're gonna use your Optimum card, PULL IT OUT ON TIME, DAMMIT. NOT after I've already put your card through. If the reciept's in your hand, you suck at Optimum-ing.

-Learn the difference between 'I need a bag' and 'I want a bag'. Needing a bag is when you've bought a lot of stuff, and don't have anything to carry it with. Wanting a bag is buying a 16-pill bottle of Advil, and having 3 big shopping bags and an empty purse, and asking for a bag. The latter does not need nor deserve a bag.

-Don't bitch about signing your lotto tickets. It's the law now. Get over it.

-If there's a flourescent pink sticker on the debit machine that says 'STRIPE TOWARDS CASHIER PLEASE', which way should you swipe it?
Morons.

-No, we don't sell bus tickets. Or Webkinz. Or porn. (Although there was that one guy who tried to photocopy his Playboy at our post office...)

It's been a while since I last posted a real update, so I think I'm due.

Not much has been going on with me. Between work, hanging with Wazy, and looking for a place to live once my mom moves to Winnipeg, I've been fairly busy. Luckily, I have a showing on Friday for a downtown apartment. I hope it goes well.

And I'm gonna be outta town on Sunday and Monday. I'll be in Saskatoon visiting my grandpa, since he's in the hospital. He was diagnosed with meningitis. I'm sure he'll be just fine; he's a tough old guy.

So. Time to sum up a weekend... sorta.

Had work, then went up to Wazy's place. We just played some FF12 and Tales of the Abyss for the night. And then Jenna showed up and stayed the night. The next day, we decided to go on an adventure. So we went down to Anderson (using the stupid transfer bus), went by the place where I lived when I was a kid. Then we traveled to Toys R Us. I got a Piplup plush thingy, which is awesome. Then we went back up to the downtown core, and we decided to go to the Science Center, since none of us have gone in years. It was pretty epic, what with the ferrofluids, self-lifting, and air-powered ball launcher. And we played a random quiz game on astronomy. We all won a vial of random goo (although points-wise I pwnt them). Then we just went to Jenna's place, called Rod over, and watched movies while eating pizza. After that, Wazy and I headed back to the Inn and got some rest.

The next day, I walked Wazy to work, then relaxed at the Inn. Watched up to episode 24 of Digimon Savers (fifth season). Effin' amazing. Then I met up with Reno, Rod, Shotgun, Jenna, and Elena, and we wandered to Chinatown. I got myself a backpack shaped like a Gundam shield, which I love so. After that, Jenna and I went up to Dalhousie to get Bailey. She was randomly dressed up as Jack Sparrow (again). We went back downtown to the Pride Festival, which was more of a dance party in the fountain pool-thinger.  I got bored, so I went to get Wazy from work. Went for some McDonalds, and went back to the Inn. Watched The Transporter 2, which was hilariously violent. And since I didn't want to put up with the transfer busses, I stayed at the Inn overnight. Went to work today, which bored me.

Aaaaaaand.... that's all. Yeah.

I should also prolly tell you guys, I'm gonna be out of town from Thursday to Sunday, as I'm going with Wazy to her dad's ranch. I'm-a learn to drive a car, ride a horse, and shoot a gun... possibly all at the same time. >D

So it turns out I don't really want to move in with my dad and his girlfriend when the time comes. So I'm looking into finding a place to rent, and a better paying job so I can afford such. If anyone wants to suggest a job for me, please do, as I would appreciate the help. (Better than 9.50/hour is what I'm looking for)

As for now, I'm ridiculously bored. Timesplitters 2 is annoying me, I forgot my DS at work, and my Wiimotes are dead. And I can't watch Digimon Savers instead, because my comp is retarded and won't decode the audio on AVIs right now.

I think I might just go down to the library and read comic books or something like that.

I have my cell on me just in case.

(Reason behind icon? Pokemon Battle Revolution comes out in 19 days! Fuck yeah!)

Today was boring. As usual. Work is lamecore. But I have the next two days off! Tomorrow I'm gonna go for my learners license (finally), and then I'll crash at Wazy's. Then on Thursday, as Wazy and I have the entire day off, we're gonna go on a random adventure. What said adventure is, I dunno. But it should be cool.

An update! Yaaaay!

So I hate my job. Mostly because it hates me back, what with all of the asshole co-workers I deal with. Oh well. I might be doing directory services for Telus at a higher pay, so that'd be nice.

And I have a day off tomorrow! Is anyone available for hanging out or something? It'd have to be a no-money-spend thing, since I'm dead broke. If no one calls, oh well. I'll just work on my Pearl file. I'm right before the Elite 4, but I need to train up my Graveler.

Also. I am free Friday afternoon (until I go and pick up Wazy from work). And I am busy all weekend between work and Mother's Day. And then another week of work (and another episode of Heroes <3), then Otafest weekend! =D

I really don't post on here anymore. I don't know why, either.

Meh, anyways.

I loves Pokemon Pearl, to start. I only think about a quarter of the new Pokemon look retarded. And I can't wait to get a Lucario. Fuck, he's so cool.

CCEE will also be cool. Not much else to say other than that.

Oh yeah. I also got recently accepted to the University of Manitoba. What may surprise many is that I don't really want to go, seeing as that would mean moving to a city that I don't know, away from all of my friends. u_u;

I preordered Pokemon Pearl today. Not much else to note from today.

And I bet most of you didn't even know I was gone. =P Not your fault of course, seeing as I didn't exactly tell that many people.

So I was in Brooks this weekend with Wazy, visiting friends and family of hers and such. It was quite fun, even if Brooks is rather lame. Got to see some movies, which ranged in between good and bad. These would include Number 23 and Music & Lyrics (in theatre, both were mediocre), and Over the Hedge and Bon Cop Bad Cop (rentals, both were awesome). Also went to a local music/electronics store. I got a Reboot PS1 game for $5. It's lame, and yet so awesome. I also got the first Pokemon movie for $10. EPIC DEAL

Plans for this week? I work Monday and Tuesday, gonna crash at Wazy's on Tuesday night, I have Wednesday off, then I work Thursday to Saturday. Saturday night will consist of taking Wazy and Chelsea to 300, basically. After that, I haven't a clue. *shrug*

And now I'm off to prove Maximillion Galactica aka Billy Bob Johns' innocence.

Running into Nikki on the train is pretty awesome.

I am now the only full time guy at my work. I am also the youngest worker there, if I'm correct.

I enjoy my job because I'm usually finished all of my work early, which leaves time to wander about the store, stock random items, and relax. Oh, and because there's free snacks sometimes.

Phoenix Wright 2 is AMAZING. *is halfway through case 3*

I'm going to Brooks this weekend with Wazy. If I forget to wear green on Saturday, her Irish mum will slap me silly, apparently.

While in Brooks, thanks to Wazy's connections at the local theatre (she used to be the assistant manager), we get to see The Number 23 for free.

And I really ought to start sketching, like I told myself I would.

And I'm out.

Happy birthday to Skor! =D One year away from being able to do something worthwhile in Las Vegas. I mean, seriously. The M&Ms museum gets boring really fast.

So. First update in ages.

HUng out with my dad after work today. Went to Joey Tomato's at Eau Claire. I discovered that I enjoy the taste of bellinis, but not the stupid glasses that they come in. Then we arcaded again. Almost passed Max 300 on Standard; failed in the last 3 seconds due to lack of stamina.

And now I am at home, sipping on a caesar cooler, which is rather yummy.

And I have this weekend off. I'm going out with Wazy on Friday night, but I'm thinking of getting some people together to go to Boomtown on Saturday night (yay karaoke!) Anyone interested?

So. Wazy and I went through all of Excel Saga in the last 2 days. EPIC SERIES OF ANIME. I MUST COSPLAY NABESHIN, FOR HIS AFRO IS OF EPIC WIN PROPORTIONS.

Seeing as I told basically no one, I have a job now. I'm a merchandiser (read: stock dude) at the Southcentre Shoppers Drug Mart. It's a really simple job, and it pays good, so I like it.

Current goals (so I can keep track of them):

-take Wazy out to a fancy dinner
-Beat Rogue Galaxy
-Get a PSP to replace my brother's broken one (I broke it, so I owe him)
-Get a laptop for own personal use
-Purchase myself a new TV, so I can give my old one to Wazy and Sarah. Seriously. Their TV sucks.

Saw Rocky Balboa in the cheap theatres. It was surprisingly good.
